Did you know that over 200 varieties of apples are grown in Sweden? Get to know a good quarter of them at the apple exhibition att Linnaeus' Hammarby. Find out which apples you have in your garden. There will be a professional juicer if you want to bring your own apples and make "äppelmust" (not to be confused with "julmust").
Throughout the day you may buy apple themed "fika" at Café Sara Lisa.
Entrance 80 SEK. Free entrance for children under 18, students, and employees at Uppsala University.
If you want to have your apples identified, bring about five good apples per variety. There is a fee of 10 SEK per variety.
If you want to make "äppelmust", you will get 5 litres of juice out of 10 kilos of apples. Apples that are mouldy, rotten or severely damaged cannot be juiced, apples with light brown bump marks are fine.
